An artist who chases the mystery, Nathalie Jacquounain traces the history, up to picking up the keys of its origins and then transforming them into a symbolism with a nostalgic flavor.

Soft shades prevail, in search of a utopian harmony arising from the communion with the things.

Yet there is a hint of detachment, given by the poses, the signs and strange figurations that intrigue and make you think.

The personification of cities, constellations, the settings in a dreamlike language become basic elements to conceptually follow the narrative art of Jacquounain, a skillful weaver of stories poised between past and present, ghosts of glory and silence.
